Our Early Childhood Program provides services, classes and support for families with children from birth to kindergarten at convenient locations throughout the District.

STEP 1 - Start the process online

Select from the links below to begin the kindergarten enrollment process:

• If you are a current family in our district with a ParentVUE account, you can log in to your account and enroll a new student or update current student information.
• New families can submit a request for a ParentVUE account to enroll your student.

STEP 2 - Complete the process at the Sunrise Park District Service Center

If you have not been able to upload the following three required documents in the online process, please submit them to the Centralized Enrollment Center at the Sunrise Park District Service Center located at 2399 Cedar Avenue in White Bear Lake (This is a new location; the Enrollment Center is no longer located at the former District Center site on Bloom Avenue.):

• Verification of birth date (examples include child's original birth certificate or religious, hospital, or physician certificate showing date of birth)
• Proof of address (examples include driver's license, utility bill, rental or purchase agreement)
• Immunization records (see immunization requirements here)

Copies will be made of each document and the original given back to you. Enrollment will not be complete until the district has received copies of the above documents.

The following special forms may be completed as applicable: 

• Day Care Provider Form (coming soon)
• Application for Educational Benefits (these applications are available each July for the coming academic year)
• Non-Legal Guardianship Form

White Bear Lake Area Schools accepts open enrollment, with district placement based upon availability.

Families who wish to Open Enroll into White Bear Lake Area Schools should do the following:

Step 1 - Complete the regular enrollment paperwork

Step 2 - Complete the Open Enrollment Form

Step 3 - Submit Forms

Resident students of White Bear Lake Schools may apply to attend a school that is outside their elementary and middle school's attendance boundaries, yet still within the school district through what is called an Intra-District Transfer.

Apply for an Intra-District Transfer one of two ways:

Please note, Intra-District Transfers are approved on a space-available basis. If the Intra-District Transfer is approved, district transportation is not provided. Once a transfer is approved, you will be contacted with notice that it has been approved.
