Educational Equity and Achievement
White Bear Lake Area Schools Equity Commitment:
To nurture the whole student, we disrupt systemic inequities by recognizing, honoring, and embracing all cultures with humility and respect.
The purpose of the Educational Equity and Achievement Department is to ensure this commitment is practiced throughout the district by supporting educational equity and achievement for each student, their family members, and all staff who support our district's strategic plan and mission on a daily basis. We strive to create a school community where individuals feel valued and respected for who they authentically are, meaning that all policies and procedures do not unfairly disadvantage or ignore the unique backgrounds and experiences of each person in our school system from various cultures, races, and ethnicities, as well as families and students experiencing economic hardships.
