All-School Reunion event
An All-School Reunion, 100 Year Celebration of WBLHS and Dedication of the Washington School Bell event is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Sept. 28 on the lawn of District Center. The event falls on Homecoming weekend and will happen in conjunction with other Homecoming activities.
Festivities at the All-School Reunion event will include a pancake breakfast sponsored by the Lion’s Club, alumni car show, District Center tours, photos with Bear and the Bell, and book signing with author David Gehrenbeck.
The event is co-sponsored by the White Bear Lake Area Alumni Association, a division of the White Bear Lake Area Educational Foundation, and White Bear Lake Area Schools.

Unclaimed diplomas available
More than 1500 unclaimed diplomas from the Area Learning Center, White Bear Lake Area High School and Mariner High School will be made available to alumni for pick-up at the September 28 All-School Reunion. Those who wish to see if their unclaimed diploma is available may find the Unclaimed Diploma tent at the event, provide proof of identity to search records with a district representative and pick up diplomas that may be available. Please note that some grad years and areas of the alphabet are not available.
2019 Scholar Award of Excellence
At the September 28 All-School Reunion event, three alumni will be honored as 2019 Scholar Award of Excellence recipients. The Scholar Award is an honor given to special educators who dedicated their life to learning and the betterment of students of any age.
Alumni to be honored in the 2019 ceremony include:

- Paul Mork
- Frank Perpich

Washington School Bell Displayed at District Center
The Washington School Bell along with a White Bear statue is now on display and has been placed at District Center. A group of volunteers with the Alumni Association has been busy working on the project to get the Washington School Bell, which hung at the former Washington School, to be placed at White Bear Lake Area Schools’ District Center. The display is an Alumni Association gift/project.
The dedication will take place on September 28, 2019 at the White Bear Lake Area Alumni Association All-School Reunion and 100 year Celebration of the first High School Building (currently District Center). The reunion will be open to graduates, staff, families and community members.

District Center on Historical Home Tour
District Center tours will be included in the Historical Society's Historical Home Tour on Sunday, Sept. 29. The building is the oldest in the district at 101 years old, as it was built as the original White Bear Lake High School. Information about the Home Tour can be found here.
