Background showcasing art supplies. Text: Extravaganza Ready for School for WBLAS Students + Families. Saturday, August 22, 10AM-3PM, White Bear Lake Area High School (Enter West Entrance at 5040 Bald Eagle Ave.)

The district’s Student, Family & Community Engagement team is hosting a free Ready for School event from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 22 at WBLAHS. A limited number of new backpacks and school supplies will be available along with free school vaccines and sports physicals, food, important district and community resources, and fun activities for the whole family!

At the June School Board meeting, Associate Principal Jenni Sjosten shared an update on the district’s former Area Learning Center, which has been officially recognized by the Minnesota Department of Education as an Alternative Learning Program (ALP). As a program of White Bear Lake Area High School, this transition creates even stronger opportunities for collaboration with WBLAHS while deepening the program’s connection to the White Bear community.

  • Transition Education Center (14895 Francesca Ave N, Hugo) - MONDAY-FRIDAY, June 11-30 *Closed June 19
  • Willow Lane Elementary 3375 Willow Ave, WBL - MONDAY-FRIDAY, June 29 - August 7 *Closed July 3

Students, families and community members are invited to enjoy the perfect sing-a-long of the summer as the White Bear Lake Area Schools Summer Community Theatre presents "Grease." Show times are at 7 p.m. July 23-25, and at 2 p.m. on July 26 at the WBLAHS Performing Arts Center.

Edupoint Educational Systems has rolled out an updated ParentVUE (New) and StudentVUE (New) app. This new version features a cleaner, tile-based interface, a streamlined login, and better navigation for tracking assignments and grades.

The older "Classic" ParentVUE and StudentVUE applications are being retired.
