2017 Local Operating Levy Renewal information

Election Results
The White Bear Lake Area Schools community voted on a 10-year Local Operating Levy Renewal and four School Board seats on November 7. The levy renewal was passed by a sizable margin, 80% to 20%. The following School Board candidates received the highest number of votes: Don Mullin, Jessica Ellison, Kim Chapman and Deborah Beloyed.

Election Details
On November 7, 2017, area residents will be voting on the District's 10-year Local Operating Levy Renewal. This vote will be a renewal of the same question that was strongly supported by our community in the fall of 2011. Approximately 15% of White Bear Lake Area Schools' revenue comes from the local operating levy.

Voting information:
  • September 22nd: Absentee Voting Begins. Voters can go to the County website to print the absentee ballot application. Once completed they can submit to the County in person, by mail, email, or fax. Further details found here.
  • October 31st - November 6th: Voting Early. Ramsey County will have locations available for individuals to vote early. Ramsey County Library - White Bear Lake will serve as a Vote Early polling place for Ramsey and Washington Counties. See complete information here. Anoka County residents may get an Absentee Ballot from the City of Lino Lakes or from Anoka County.
