Willow and Central to participate in Summer Food Service Program

Willow Lane Elementary and Central Middle School will be sites this summer for the Food and Nutrition Service Summer Food Service Program. As such, breakfast and lunch meals will open and free-of-charge to White Bear Lake Area School District community children under 18 years old at Willow and Central schools only during the following times:

Willow Lane Elementary
3375 Willow Ave, White Bear Lake
Breakfast served 8:25-8:45 a.m.
Lunch served 12:10-12:30 p.m.

Central Middle School
4857 Bloom Ave, White Bear Lake
Breakfast served 8:25-9 a.m.
Lunch served 11:30-12 p.m.
Oneka Elementary in Hugo will serve meals to students who are attending summer school.  Children who attend summer school at Oneka Elementary, and who qualify for free/reduced meals, will receive both breakfast and lunch at no cost. Children who attend summer school at Oneka Elementary, and who do not qualify for free/reduced meals, may purchase a breakfast meal for $1.65 and a lunch meal for $2.55.

The Food and Nutrition Service Summer Food Service Program is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and is administered by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), Food and Nutrition Service. Eligibility requirements for sites to be able to offer the free program are determined by the percentage of free/reduced-price meals at the building and census data identifying the area as eligible.
