White Bear Lake Area Schools Community Services and Recreation Department, in cooperation with North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale Community Education and Mahtomedi Community Education, offer full-service Adult Basic Education (ABE) programming for all area residents.

English as a Second Language (ESL) Classes
This program serves adults in our community who are learning the English language.
  • Improve your English language skills in the areas of: speaking,
    listening, reading and writing.
  • Classes are offered at no cost
  • Beginning, intermediate or advanced level classes
  • Day and evening classes available

Career Pathways
Harmony Adult Education trains adults in the fields of Information Technology (IT), School Paraprofessionals and Health Care. Classes are offered at no cost to students. These career fields have a variety of entry level jobs and opportunities for growth.
